With influences like Beardsley, Hokusai and psychedelic album covers Jane reintroduces us to the landscape, getting us to see beyond the everyday. Jane uses painted silk, a technique that introduces randomness and change into her art. This approach reminds us that the landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales are not static and unchanging, but altered, mutable and evolving. "
